The Terapanth Bhavan is one of the largest thoroughfares about Shvetambar Terapanth architecture, but it is designed keeping in mind the underlying concept of simplicity and the importance of Jain religion. It is a 5-storey religious building located at Shahibaug, Ahmedabad. The first two floors hold two spacious halls. The larger hall is used for sermons only by the Guru and his disciples. The other hall is a community centre available to all common people. The other floors contain rooms for the stays of the saints and nuns. This building was designed to pay homage to the religious importance of the Jain religion; it uses a white colour scheme to signify purity, innocence, and clarity.
